AquaCuisine is more than a brand or a company, it's the vision to change the way Americans eat seafood at home, through “kitchen-friendly” formats with high nutritional value. Since 1993, we’ve passionately pursued this vision by producing restaurant quality, value-added seafood products using eco-friendly practices.
Our specialty in Salmon comes from AquaCuisine Founder & CEO, Mark Goforth, who developed a love for salmon during his childhood summers spent fishing the pristine fjords off Ketchikan, Alaska. As a seafood pioneer, Mark has committed AquaCuisine to ensuring the sustainability of Wild Alaskan salmon through global initiatives such as the Marine Stewardship Council certification and eco-labeling programs.
The combination of high protein, low fat and Omega-3s fatty acids also make Salmon a great choice for our product platform. Omega-3 DHA (docosahexaenoic) & EPA (eicosapentaenoic) fats in particular have shown to improve infant development and heart health, reduce inflammation and slow macular degeneration – and Salmon provides the highest naturally bioavailable source of these Omega-3s.
